1. Information stored on your device
Paoira stores information you choose to add: product and brand names, categories, barcode/QR/batch codes, dates, opened state, PAO settings, ratings, repurchase preference, notes, ingredients, prices, sizes, archive history, reminder preferences, and package photos. Calculations run locally.
2. Camera, codes, and photos
Camera access is used only when you choose scanning or label photography. Code recognition runs on-device. Label photos are copied to private application storage and are not uploaded by the current edition.
3. Notifications
With permission, Paoira schedules operating-system notifications locally before and on effective expiry. Content may contain a product name and time remaining. Disable these in device settings at any time.
4. Collection and sharing
- account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or telemetry;
- developer-operated cloud database;
- automatic photo, code, or shelf upload;
- social profile or public content; or
- sale or rental of personal information.
Export or sharing happens only when you explicitly choose it and select a destination.
5. Producer lookups
The current edition does not automatically contact producers. Any future lookup must be optional and user-initiated, identify its destination, and update this policy before release if it transmits information.
6. Retention, security, and deletion
Records remain in app-private storage until edited, archived, deleted, app storage is cleared, or Paoira is uninstalled, subject to device backup settings. Device access, screenshots, exported files, unlocked backups, or a compromised operating system can expose local information.
7. Cosmetic-safety disclaimer
Stop using a product when smell, color, texture, separation, packaging, performance, or a reaction raises concern, regardless of the calculated date. Follow manufacturer instructions and seek appropriate professional advice.
8. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated before any release adds data transmission, accounts, cloud sync, analytics, crash uploads, or advertising. Use the developer contact on the official store listing once published; until then consult support guidance.
