1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cylune mobile application published under the name Cylune: Private Cycle Tracker. The publisher is the developer identified in the application’s official store listing. Cylune is a personal cycle calendar, not an online service or social platform.
2. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, Cylune may store the information you choose to enter or create:
- selected, corrected, estimated, or dismissed period dates;
- optional private text comments attached to calendar days;
- pregnancy-pause start and end dates;
- your period-length and rhythm settings;
- whether learned or personal settings drive future predictions;
- the last selected Simple or Extended view; and
- locally calculated prediction and learning values derived from those dates.
This information is held in the app’s private storage area on your device. Cylune’s prediction calculations run locally.
3. What Cylune collects or shares
The current version does not transmit personal information to the publisher or third parties. It does not collect, sell, rent, disclose, or share cycle dates, comments, pregnancy-pause dates, identifiers, location, contacts, usage activity, or diagnostics.
- account or sign-in;
- advertising or advertising identifier use;
- analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or tracking SDKs;
- cloud synchronization or developer-operated database;
- social sharing or user-generated public content; or
- third-party health SDK integration.
Because the publisher does not receive your app data, it cannot view, export, recover, or remotely delete that data for you.
4. Permissions and external services
Cylune’s core operation is offline. The current app does not require internet, location, contacts, device calendar, microphone, camera, advertising, Health Connect, or HealthKit access. It does not depend on an external service to calculate or display your cycle information.
Operating systems and app stores may independently process technical information when you download, update, back up, or purchase a device. That processing is controlled by the relevant platform provider and is covered by its own privacy terms, not by Cylune.
5. Your choices and control
You can edit period dates at any time by selecting or deselecting days. You can edit or delete day comments, edit or remove pregnancy pauses, dismiss estimates, and delete period records through the available app controls.
To remove all locally stored Cylune information, uninstall the app and review any device-level backup that may contain application data. Cylune does not provide an account-deletion request because no Cylune account exists.
6. Device security, retention, and backups
Information remains on your device until you change or delete it, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall Cylune, subject to the behavior of your operating system and any device backup or migration service you independently enable. Access to the device, unlocked backups, screenshots, or a compromised operating system may expose locally stored information.
Cylune uses the application storage protections provided by the operating system. No local-only application can guarantee protection against every person or process that already has access to an unlocked or compromised device.
7. Health and prediction disclaimer
Do not use Cylune for contraception, pregnancy confirmation, diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention, or emergency decisions. Pregnancy can occur outside an estimated fertile window. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, pregnancy, fertility, contraception, or other medical concerns.
8. Children
Cylune is intended for adults and is not designed or directed specifically to children. The app does not knowingly collect information from anyone because it does not transmit app-entered information to the publisher.
9. Policy changes
This policy describes the current offline version. If a future release adds an account, cloud synchronization, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, support uploads, or another feature that transmits information, this policy and the applicable store privacy declarations must be updated before that feature is released. The effective date above will change when the policy changes materially.
10. Contact
For privacy or support questions, contact the Cylune publisher using the developer contact details displayed on the official store page from which you obtained the app. This avoids publishing an inaccurate address before the final developer identity and support channel are configured.
